Holiday Bucket List – Brunch Downtown in Cincinnati

As you’re checking off items on your bucket list for holiday activities this year, be sure to check out some of the best places to have brunch downtown.  After your bellies are full, be sure to also check out our list of things to do with you family to continue the holiday spirit.


If you like Waffles – Try Taste of Belguim – The Waffle Comes First, Respect The Waffle!  Highly recommending the Chicken and Waffle – Make sure you get the HOT SAUCE!


If you like Healthy – try  Maplewood Kitchen and Bar.   A West Coast Cafe in the Heart of Cincinnati Urban Core!  Highly recommending Whip Goat Cheese and Ricotta Toast, Chicken Tinga and be sure to pick up a cold press juice!


If you like Fancy – The French Crust – A little bit of Paris in the heart of Over-The-Rhine – Highly recommend the Puff Pastry with local Goetta, Poached Eggs, Hollandaise and Piperade.  Get some chocolates while you are there, made by a local chocolatier!

If you like Hipster –  Cheapside Cafe – Carfefully considered coffee, breakfast and lunch in Cincinnati. Highly recommend Chorizo Egg Sandwich and some of the best coffee in Cincinnati – Try the Cuban Cortado!



If you want to eat out on Christmas Day – Orchids at Palm Court – A Fine Dining Restaurant at the Hilton Netherland Plaza Downtown.  Special brunch buffet only served on Christmas day, be sure to call ahead for reservations.  There is also a buffet served on Sundays from 10:30 – 1:30 at the Palm Court Grill.



If you like Italian – Via Vite Italian Bistro  – Sleek Italian Eatery on Fountain Square.  Highly recommend you start with Coccoli for the table and the Tuscan Breakfast for your entree.
